The Alan Edwards Award Update
Call for nominations.
ICA recently circulated a note on The Alan Edwards Award which is operated by The Friends of the Intelligence Corps Museum (FICM). The Award recognises an individual or team effort which has made a significant contribution to the work of the Intelligence Corps Museum or in developing the History & Heritage of the Intelligence Corps. The winner is selected from the list of nominees by a committee, overseen by John Condon – the FICM Trustee responsible for History & Heritage – and consisting of the Deputy Colonel Commandant, the Museum Curator and the Corps Secretary.
The award is open to all members of the Intelligence Corps family, regular, reserve and retired. Members of other branches of the Armed Forces who are serving, or have served, on attachment are also eligible, providing their project has a direct bearing on the history and heritage of the Intelligence Corps.
Nominations are invited for the award and should include the sender’s name, email address, reason for the nomination and, if possible, the original work being nominated (if this is not possible, a full description of the work should be provided).
Nominations should be submitted to John Condon via the Contact Us page on this website, for the attention of the Alan Edwards Award Committee, no later than 30th June this year.
